The warm linings used by Sioux are based on wool or textile fibres. Wool fibres and textile linings are particularly light and warm at the same time. The insulating effect is created (similar to natural fur) by the fact that a layer of insulating air is created between the fibres. The combination of air pockets and textile fibres in warm linings keeps your feet warm – without making you sweat.
