FASHION meets ART – the very first vegan Sioux trainer ‘StepOne’

“StepOne” is a limited edition pairs and was designed in collaboration with the German artist and social media star from Stuttgart – Tim Bengel. Thanks to its classic colour, this trainer, designed personally by Tim Bengel, is ideal to mix and match and so is a real on-trend all-rounder. 

Lightweight and flexible

This ‘StepOne’ trainer by Tim Bengel consists of a knitted upper, which is exceptionally soft and flexible, and a striking yet lightweight sole. The knitted shoe construction has been made as a single piece and features implied moccasin decorative stitching as a subtle clue to the shoe’s Sioux origins.

Exclusive collector’s shoebox

The trainer comes in an exclusive collector’s shoebox – printed with a work of art from Tim Bengel – in gold and a finely textured sand finish. The collector’s items are individually numbered and are therefore truly unique.

Vegan and CO₂-neutral too

All the carbon dioxide emissions that are produced during the manufacturing and distribution process have been fully offset through the purchase of CO₂ certificates.

One pair = one tree

We are also supporting a forestation project in Nepal through the non-profitmaking association “GEO schützt den Regenwald e.V.”, one of the oldest German rainforest conservation organisations. For every pair of these vegan trainers sold, a tree will be planted and managed on the initiative of the so-called Community Forest User Group (CFUG).
